Now And Forever
Now And Forever

Every time you criticize someone, you condemn yourself. It takes one to know one. Judgmental criticism of others is a well-known way of escaping detection in your own crimes and misdemeanors. Do not be deceived – God isn’t so easily diverted. He sees right through such smoke screens.
Has it ever dawned on anyone that God more than likely asked us not to judge others for any other reason than to keep us from making absolute fools of ourselves? Every time we judge someone we become the pot, calling the kettle, “black.”
Surely we didn’t think that just by pointing our finger at others we could distract God from seeing all of our misdoings, did we? God is loving and kind, but God is also the very best at parenting. In kindness, He takes us firmly by the hand and leads us into a radical life-change in Jesus Christ.
Whether in bondage to the Law, or free indeed by Grace, no one is getting by with anything. Every refusal and avoidance of God’s love only turns up the perfection of His parenting. Embracing the love of God has a wonderful outcome.
Being born a Jew doesn’t give you an automatic stamp of approval, and neither does adherence to religious Law. God pays absolutely no attention to what others say (or what you think) about you. His mind is made up in the sacrifice of Jesus. The humble sacrifice of Jesus for the freedom of mankind says it all – so much so, that God says, “Accepted – there will be no further need for sacrifice. It is finished, now, and forever.”
